Killinchy Gold Maple Walnut Ice Cream Truffles

 

Ingredients

  • 1 Litre Killinchy Gold Maple Walnut Ice Cream

  • 200g mixed nuts finely chopped (any nuts can be used)

  • Caramel and/or chocolate sauce

  • Fresh whipped cream (optional)

  • Finely grated dark Chocolate (we recommend Whittaker’s Dark Ghana chocolate)

Method

  1. Make ice cream balls with an ice cream scoop or melon baller – smaller, compact scoops work best.

  2. Roll ice cream balls in the chopped nuts and place in freezer for a couple of hours to harden.

  3. Place 2-3 balls in a medium to tall glass.

  4. Pour caramel and/or chocolate sauce over the top and serve topped with fresh whipped cream and grated chocolate.
