Chocolate Brownie with Killinchy Gold Maple Syrup & Walnut

  • 500gm butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar


  • Melt butter in pot
  • Take off heat
  • Add sugar and then eggs one at one at a time, stirring in thoroughly
  • Fold in flour, cocoa and baking powder
  • Pour into lamington tin (small rectangular baking tray) and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes or until spring back to touch
  • When cool, sift over icing sugar and serve with Killinchy Gold ice cream of choice (we recommend Killinchy Gold Maple Syrup & Walnut)
